‘ABHIVYAKTI’ - 2018
St. Joseph College, Sitapur Road staged their 4th Annual Concert – ‘Abhivyakti’ – 2018-19 A colourful & vibrant presentation of the Theme – ‘DHWANI’ - ‘The Sound of Music’ was presented on 8.12.2018 in the Ceremonious presence of eminent luminaries. Shri Chandra Vijay Singh, IAS, Special Secretary, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh was the Honourable chief guest of the occasion. Among other dignitaries were Dr. Mukesh Kumar Singh, District Inspector of the Schools, Lucknow, Managing Directors of the college, Shri Anil Agarwal & Smt. Namrata Agarwal, and Directors, Shri Rajesh and Seema Agarwal, Sqn. Leader – Rakhi Agarwal, Smt. Anupam Chaudhary and Col. P.K. Chaudhary and Schools owners & Principals of leading Schools of the city and many other important guests from the City, Friends, Parents and Well-Wishers. Dhwani opened with the Prayer Dance invoking Lord Ganesh & Goddess Durga. Students from class III-XII staged colourful and rhythmic folk dances with crisp narrations preceding each item. Bihu, Garhwali, Shiv Tandav, Sufi Dance & Malhar Danced to scintillating music with mesmerizing costumes. The grand stage set up added to the glory of each item. Soulful Renditions by the College Choir bound the audience. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Amita Singh, Principal of School. Shri Anil Agarwal, Managing Director of School, blessed the efforts of Students and Teachers. A Brilliant Grand Finale- ‘Harsh Dhwani’ spellbound the audience. The College Anthem sung with reverence followed by the National Anthem marked the close to the function. An artistically decorated school building gave added beauty to the programme. An evening to remember was full to capacity with Parents and Guests.
