Description: Tree Plantation programme was held in St. Joseph College, Sitapur Road on 16th July 2016. The students of class Vth to class XIIth actively participated in the programme.Mr. Anil Agarwal (Managing Director), Mrs. Amita Singh (School Principal), teachers and students went to plant the sapling in school premises.
They had planted various types of plants some of them being Jacuranda (niligul mohar), Queen’s flower, Queen’s Crups, Indian laburnum, Copper pod (tamrashircbi), Mountain Ebony, Purpleorchid tree (kachanar), African Tulip tree, scarlet, fountain Tree (Pichakari), Raintree and jurul tree. Teachers had also explained about the trees and the importance of tree plantation. Even help staff also taught the students how to plant them and then they watered the plants. The helpers told a different thing about the plant, their uses etc. At the end of the programme, there was a photo session with Principal, teachers and students.
