Description: According to the Hindu calendar, Basant Panchami is the first day of the spring season. Yellow is the colour of the day, therefore, all children and staff were dressed in different shades of yellow. It was celebrated in the school by holding a special assembly where children were told the significance of the day and how it is celebrated in various parts of the country. This was followed by a puja of Goddess Saraswati, "the Goddess of Knowledge, Music and Art".
The day was made special with everyone getting the "Yellow Laddoo" Prasad!
