follow the path of truth.

O God of wisdom and power we beseech you, to look
kindly upon us we are about to do our Examination, Enlighten
our minds, so as to recall to our memory all that we have
Learnt sharpen our intelligence so that we may understand
the questions we are to answer. Guide our hands that we may
write neatly and clearly. With your blessing and guidance
Lord, we know that we cannot fail in any task. We humbly ask
you to accept the fruit of our hard work.

तू प्रकाश अपना दिखा रहा।
अरदास है कहीं कीर्तन,
कहीं रामधुन कहीं आह्मावन
विधि वेद का है ये सब रचा,
तेरा भक्त तुझको बुला रहा।।
तू ही ध्यान में तू ही ज्ञान में,
तू ही प्राणियों के प्राण में,
कहीं आँसुओं में बहा तू ही,
कहीं फूल बनके खिला हुआ।।
तेरे गुण नहीं हम गा सके,
तुझे मन में अपने न ला सके,
तुझे मन में अपने न ला सके,
कर कृपा यही तुझे पा सकें,
तेरे दर पे सिर ये झुका हुआ।।

ऐ मालिक तेरे बन्दे हम
ऐसे हों हमारे करम
नेकी पर चले और बदी से डरें
ताकि हँसते हुए निकले दम ऐ ............।

ये अँधेरा घना छा रहा
तेरा इन्सान घबड़ा रहा
हो रहा बेखबर कुछ ना आता नज़र
सुख का सूरज छिपा जा रहा
है तेरी रोशनी में वो दम
तू अमावस को कर दे पूनम नेकी ............।

बड़ा कमजोर है आदमी
अभी लाखों हैं इसमें कमी
पर तू जो खड़ा है दयालु बड़ा
तेरी किरपा से धरती थमी
दिया तूने हमें जब जनम
तू ही ले लेगा हम सबके गम
नेकी .............

जब जुल्मों का हो सामना
तब तू ही हमें थामना
वो बुराई करें, हम भलाई करें
नहीं बदले की हो भावना
बढ़ उठे प्यार का हर कदम
और मिटे बैर का ये भरम
नेकी ............।

कमला कमलदलविहारिणी

श्यामलां सरलां सुस्मितां भूषितां

द्राविड़–उत्कल–बंग।
विंध्य–हिमाचल–यमुना–गंगा
उच्छल जलधि तरंग
तव शुभ नामे जागे,

गाहे तव जय गाथा।
जन गण मंगल दायक जय हे

ये वक्त न ठहरा है

हिम्मत से काम लेंगे, घबराना कैसा, ये वक्त न ....।

सागर के सीने से पाये हैं जब मोती-2
लहरें कभी बलखायें घबराना कैसा
हिम्मत से काम ..................।

ये सुख दुख जीवन में आते और जाते हैं।
दुःख पहले आ जाए घबराना कैसा
हिम्मत से काम ..................।

जब कदम बढ़ायें हैं मंजिल मिल जायेगी।
है राह ज़रा मुश्किल घबराना कैसा
हिम्मत से काम ..................।

भारत हमारा देश है, हम सब भारतवासी भाई-बहन हैं। हमें अपना देश प्राणों से प्यारा है। इसकी समृद्धि और विविध संस्कृति पर हमें गर्व है। हम इसके सुयोग्य अधिकारी बनने का सदा प्रयत्न करते रहेंगे। हम अपने माता-पिता, शिक्षकों और गुरुजनों का आदर करेंगे तथा सबके साथ शिष्टता का व्यवहार करेंगे। हम अपने देशवासियों के प्रति वफ़ादार रहने की प्रतिज्ञा करते हैं। उनके कल्याण और समृद्धि में ही हमारा सुख निहित है।
