Description: REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATED AT SJC The 67th Republic Day of the nation was celebrated with Patriotism, zeal and enthusiasm as the staff and students gathered in the college. In a short programme, Mrs. Pushplata Agarwal Founder Chairperson (St. Joseph Group of Institutions, Lucknow) was the Chief Guest. The programme started with a customary singing of National Song which was followed by the unfurling of the Tricolor along with the National Anthem. Mother Ma’am highlighted the meaning, importance and relevance of Republic Day. The college choir comprising of the senior section students then presented a melodious medley of patriotic songs under the able guidance of their mentor Mr. Satyendra Kumar. The Chief Guest Mrs. Agarwal then addressed the audience and stressed upon the need of spreading literacy & Cleanliness which is very essential to weed out corruption from the society. She emphasized on the need of proper education stressed upon creating awareness about “SWACH BHARAT”. She urged the students to move out and educate as many people as possible and spread awareness about cleanliness in their area. College Principal Ms. Amita Singh proposed the vote of thanks on behalf of the management, staff and students.
