Description: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal in St. Joseph College, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. students were dressed in colourful festive clothes. Junior Students gathered at the Playway hall. The celebration began with a video on “How Raksha Bandhan festival started”. The bright and colourful Rakhies were made by the pre-primary students. The celebration ended with a scrumptious “Narial Barfi” Prasad.
All the teachers experienced nostalgic moments when they saw the enthusiastic performance put up by the students. All in all, the celebration of this festival which signifies the beautiful bond of trust and protection between a boy and a girl, helped the students to nurture a healthy relationship amongst all at school – which is indeed a home away from home.
