Annual Function at St. Joseph, Rajajipuram

Description: St. Joseph Group of Institutions celebrated its 30th Foundation Day with fervour and gaiety at its Mother Branch located at Rajajipuram. On this occasion, fourteen alumni were also honoured who have been selected in Medical, Engineering and administrative services. Governor of Uttar Pradesh Sri Ram Naik was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Dr.Dinesh Sharma, The Mayor of the city was present as the guest of honour. Chief Guest was welcomed by the Founder-Chairperson of the St. Joseph group Mrs. Pushplata Agarwal by being given a bouquet and memento. Students of the school welcomed the guests by presenting Durga Stuti and welcome song. The ceremony was started after the lighting of the lamp performed by Hon’ble Chief Guest and the Founder Chairperson. On this occasion, children presented commendable performances which were appreciated by the hon’ble governor. In her welcome address Smt. Pushplata Agarwal informed the guests about the achievements and success gained by the school in three decades and said that the arrival of the governor was a blessing for St. Joseph family. In his blessings, the governor congratulated the students and three decades success of the college. In the series of colourful programmes, students presented marvellous performances and made the unity in diversity of India lively. The presentation of Durga Stuti made the audience bow their head at the same time the dance of Krishna & Rukmini taught everybody the lesson of love & sacrifice. Qawali made the evening Sufiana whereas Punjabi bhangra made everybody dance a step or two Marathi, Rajasthani and western dance presented a glimpse of the various states and countries while the Holi of Barsana sprinkled the colours of love on everyone. Various respected guests and Board of Directors comprising Sri Anil Agarwal, Sri Rajesh Agarwal, Smt. Seema Agarwal and Squadron Leader Rakhi Agarwal were present. Principal Mrs. Leena Sharma showed gratitude at the grand presence of the guests, guardians and local residents & thanked them all for the successful completion of the programme.
